Yeppoon State School is the only State school on the Capricorn Coast that is fortunate enough to have our very own on-site 25 meter swimming pool.
All students are provided with swimming lessons as part of our Physical Education curriculum in terms 1 and 4 each year.
A Department of Health School Dental Clinic is situated in the school grounds near the Tucker Street entrance. With parental permission, all children are eligible to receive, free of charge, basic dental care. Enquiries should be directed to the Clinic - telephone (07) 4939 2479.
The Clinic building is adjacent to the Tucker Street entrance to Yeppoon State School. However, the Clinic frequently works from the dental caravan, which moves to various school sites throughout the school year.
Enquiries about appointments and Dental Clinic services should be directed to Dental Clinic staff. Yeppoon State School has no involvement with provision of Dental Clinic services.

Students regularly enjoy bush and nature walks on the Environmental trail (JPG, 123KB).
Swimming lessons are conducted over two Terms each year in the school's swimming pool.
Our School Hall which was opened in 2010 provides an undercover area for performances, sporting events and weekly Assemblies.
A modern Resource Centre (Library) was opened in 2010 where students avail themselves of a variety of resource and technological materials including access to laptops.
All students have access to a variety of technology that is annually updated.
Year 3 to year 7 are able to access a loan system to participate in the instrumental program.
