Yeppoon State Primary is a co-educational state school with an enrolment of approximately 400 students.
Our township has enjoyed a steady growth rate in recent years with many families opting to relocate from both inter and intra state in favour of the beautiful environs, cool breezes and relaxed lifestyle of the coast. The Yeppoon Community is very supportive of the school and the many programs undertaken each year.
An active Parent and Citizens' Association conducts successful functions and fundraisers, through a motivated executive team who maintain strong links with the administration team.
The School Council was formed in 1997 to shape the strategic direction of the school and consists of parent, staff and administration members.
Yeppoon State School prides itself on being an extremely family orientated school. The warm and friendly atmosphere of our whole school is often commented on by parents and visitors alike. Parents take an active role in supporting teachers on a voluntary basis in many ways in our classrooms and in the wider school environment.
